March, 2026
The kickoff of the 2026 Abitronix Technology Expo was marked by more than just innovation, it was defined by a powerful “full circle” moment for CEO and Founder, Hugo E. Almeida Jr.
During the event on March 3, Almeida presented a $15,000 donation to Kean University’s College of Business & Public Management (CBPM). As a proud alumnus from the Class of 1988, the contribution was a deeply personal tribute to his alma mater.
The donation was dedicated to the memory of Hugo’s late father, Hugo Eduardo Almeida Flores. Hugo spoke movingly about his father’s sacrifice and devotion, noting that he did everything in his power to ensure both Hugo and his sister, Janice, had the opportunity to receive an education in the United States.
“Education is the cornerstone of progress,” Almeida shared during the presentation. “Investing in and supporting the next generation of students ensures a brighter future for all.”
